Rollercoaster Ride at the German GP: A race of Highs and Lows 🤯

Sachsenring, Germany - Jacob Roulstone had an eventful race at the Sachsenring during the Motorrad Grand Prix Deutschland. Starting strong, he quickly moved into the top 10 within the first six laps, showing competitive pace as he trailed his teammate Daniel Holgado. Roulstone skillfully navigated the circuit, maintaining lap times comparable to the leaders and even putting pressure on riders like Angel Piqueras and Tatsuki Suzuki.

However, a close encounter with Piqueras led to contact, forcing Roulstone to go wide and drop to P19. Despite this setback, he attempted to regain his rhythm but unfortunately crashed in Turn 11 on the next lap, ending his race prematurely.

Despite the disappointment, Roulstone showed promise with his strong race pace and gained valuable experience running with the leading group.

Reflecting on the race, Jacob said, "I am very, very disappointed with today’s race. I felt so comfortable on the bike, I had finally figured out everything through the first sector, which I was happy about. We had a good pace, we were good with the tyres, but sadly I had this incident, somehow I saved it, but then it was over for us and I crashed while trying to get back into rhythm. It is not the result I wanted, but it was good to gain experience with the leading group.”

As the team heads into the summer break, Roulstone will look to build on the positives and come back stronger for the second half of the season.
