Roulstone Ends Rookie Moto3 Season with a Stellar Performance in Barcelona 👏
Barcelona, Spain – Australian Moto3 rookie Jacob Roulstone capped off his debut season with an impressive 8th place finish in the 2024 Moto3 finale at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. Matching his season-best result, Roulstone demonstrated grit, determination, and adaptability, solidifying his place as a rider to watch in the coming years.
The final race of the season saw Roulstone compete in a fiercely competitive 11-rider pack, where he held his ground with confidence and precision. His performance highlighted his growth throughout a challenging rookie year, earning him 15th place in the overall championship standings.
Reflecting on the race and the season, Roulstone said, "Quite happy to finish the season on a high like this. To be 8th after some struggles is great and I think the team are happy. I tried to make positions as quick as I could today and pleased that Dani [Holgado] is second in the championship and how I could ride. I got used to the late, aggressive moves into Turn 1. Overall, an up and down season and I’m proud of how I was able to come back and overcome the difficulties I was having. A big thanks to the team and those that helped me and supported me. I think we have a lot of potential for some big goals next year.”
Roulstone’s farewell to his rookie campaign is a testament to his resilience and promise as a rising star in Moto3. With lessons learned and growing confidence, he now sets his sights on achieving even greater milestones in 2025.
