Roulstone overcomes ailing shoulder to finish 12th at Le Mans 🇫🇷
Le Mans, France - Red Bull GASGAS Tech3’s promising rookie, Jacob Roulstone, continued to demonstrate his rapid adaptation to Moto3 racing with a solid 12th place finish at the 20-lap French Grand Prix at Le Mans. Starting from 11th on the grid, Roulstone showcased his growing confidence and skill, delivering a performance that highlights his potential in his debut season.
Roulstone quickly found his rhythm in the race, advancing to 7th position before encountering a challenge at Turn 2, where another rider ran him wide. Despite a weakened shoulder, Roulstone maintained his composure and settled into the second pack, ensuring a respectable 12th place finish.
"I was quite good at the start of the race and this is something that I’ve struggled with previously. I opted for the medium tire so I knew it would come good," Roulstone said. "I settled into my groove and got up to 7th but then into Turn 2 one of the other riders ran me wide. My shoulder was a bit weak this weekend but something I could handle. I have learned a lot this weekend and I’m happy with how I got to grips with the track. I will take that into Barcelona."
