Roulstone Battles Through Challenging Race at MotorLand Aragon đź’Ş
Aragón, Spain –  Jacob Roulstone faced a tough race in Aragón, following a challenging start from 18th on the grid after a crash in Q2. Despite the setback, the Australian rider, known for his relentless determination, pushed through the pain and difficult conditions, finishing in 21st place in the Moto3 race.
Roulstone, unhurt but sore from his qualifying incident, was ready to give his all as the lights went out. However, the opening lap saw him drop a few positions amidst the fierce mid-grid traffic, crossing the line in P23. Over the next lap, Roulstone began his fightback, moving up to P21 and then P19 as he led a small group in pursuit of Stefano Nepa. He held this position for much of the race but eventually slipped to P21 after being overtaken in the final laps.
While the result wasn’t what Roulstone had hoped for, the race provided valuable lessons that he and the Red Bull GASGAS Tech3 team will carry into the next round in Misano.
“I am very disappointed with today’s race," commented Roulstone. "The grip was quite bad, and the feeling was not there for me. I had some hip pain from my Q2 crash, and it became more difficult to handle in the last laps, especially when I was getting low. I apologise to the team and everyone that supports me, we will try to do better next week in Misano.”
